I watched the trailer for Season 6, and will all those weave structures be something that can be woven with four shafts on a table loom?

Hi Liza, I just wanted to add that all other seasons are available with a subscription. Of those 50 episodes there is only one other that is for 8 shafts. So...those first 5 years are all for the 4 shaft loom. Yay!
The Turned Twill, 8 Shaft Bronson Lace and Summer and Winter are on 8 shaft looms. The rest are woven on a 4 shaft loom! 😁
When will the Seasons 6 weaving kits be available for purchase?
The first 3 are available on the website now. Keep in mind that the JST Shop will be closing shortly for the Christmas holidays. The last day for shipping orders will be December 24th and shipping won't resume until January 4th.
And there is no kit for Episode 1 or 5, so we are half way there :)
Hi - I joined this year for Season 5 (and past seasons). I'd like to continue membership for the coming year. How do I do that? Will you send out a notice to pay?

Hi Joan, You will get an email the day the your subscription expires. Just follow the directions in that email and you’ll be golden :)

While I'm here I'll add that I've been weaving for over 15 years, mostly self taught and joined after seeing a trailer via Handwoven Magazines Newsletter. OMG, I'M IN LOVE. This is a FABULOUS resource. Sorry I'm shouting, but it excites me so much. I've learned heaps and I'm still watching Session 1! Have to limit my viewing time otherwise I'd become a non-weaving couch potato sitting in front of Janes videos...

Loved first episode of season 6. Went back to season 5 episode 1 to remind myself about turned twill. VERY HELPFUL. Looking forward to this season. All the seasons have been wonderful..Thank you Jane and TEAM.
I just finished a scarf using block design and a profile draft. Just learned how to do that! I used my stash with a warp of Zephyr and a weft of Tussah silk. I am going to wet finish it but I am concerned that if I use warm water the Zephyr will shrink and the silk won't. What do you suggest? Can't wait for episode 2!
Your scarf will be lovely! If this is your first time finishing a scarf in the sink - just be gentle with it, nice warm water, gentle soap, and if you aren't sure - under full it rather than over full it. It can go from one to the other very quickly. You can always full it a bit more if after it's dry if you would like a tighter set, BUT (and don't ask how I know ;-) - you can't unfull your precious item after it's overfulled :-(
Hi, Jane! I just finished watching episode 2 and my mind is blown by how the tie ups changed the towels along with the color changes!
I was unable to print the PDF for both the towel photos and the pattern receiving a message from the printer saying file is corrupted. However, there was no problem with the lesson plan. I am not computer savvy enough to figure out if this is a problem on my computer or if they were protected somehow on your end. Perhaps they were not intended for printing? I use the MAC system by the way.
Please advise.

Hi Annie - I just printed off both documents from my Mac computer, so it seems to be working at my end. Could you reboot your computer or device and see if that makes a difference. It doesn't have to be tonight - I'm heading to bed 🥱
My 8-shaft loom is a 24" Voyageur from LeClerc. I notice that the finished width of these towels is 24", which means it will be wider than that before wet-finishing. I have some decisions to make and I hope you can advise me. Should I just delete one of the stripes or: can I just delete some of the 1,2,3,4 X6 at the beginning and end of the threading to make it all fit? I always heard that good design is odd numbers and I would end up with an even number of stripes, if I deleted one stripe.

Oh! my 8-shaft is a table loom but that shouldn't make a difference.
Hi Joy, the width in reed is 24" - not the finished cloth. However, I weave on my table loom as well as my David and know what it's like to adapt a draft to fit a loom. My suggestion is to turn the centre column (Cayenne) into a narrower stripe. If you wound 60 ends of Cayenne instead of 84, your width in reed would be not quite 22.7". This gives you a more comfortable weave in the sometimes tight situation that we get on our table looms. Draw it all down on a piece of graph paper or Fiberworks, so that you can have a visual record of your adapted draft. Hope this helps.

I am wondering what sequence you use for the hem area. I think I would prefer plain weave, but can't pick out how to do it with Tie-up #1.
Can you help me? Perhaps it should be a straight draw twill sequence.
I just went and re-read instructions for Towel #1 and it said to do the hem area in "Y". Is that correct?
