Hygge Blanket. My Jane loom isn't quite wide enough for one wide warp and I was wondering if doing it as a double weave is possible or would the long cabin portion be a nightmare to figure out. I haven't done any double weave as yet so not sure if this would be a less than ideal solution. Thanks
I decided to do two panels and join them. I was worried about matching the two sides perfectly so I made each panel using the same theme but slightly different - so it would look like a 50/50 design choice, not a" worry about perfection" choice. I considered going narrow but it would have been a little too narrow for a nice blanket.
Although I was happy with my paneling choice I think my next blanket would be a double weave. I think a double weave would have been easier.
My weaving expert friend had suggested using a bright color to join the panels, like a bold red, for a pop. I considered it, liked the idea, but decided to just use the colors from the blanket. Love the blanket, it is super soft and cuddly. :) Hope this helps.
