Hi, I posted this about a month ago, but somehow it did not get picked up. If someone could take a look at my questions, I would appreciate it so much. Thank you. Adrian. PS— If someone has answered it, I’ve not been able to see the answer. Thanks again
I'm getting ready to start winding the warp for a set of these towels and have the following question:
On page 10 of the TT handout in the Warp Sequence section, there are five groupings of warp that alternate between navy and one of the parrot colors. Why do the 1st, 3rd and 5th pairs start with navy and the 2nd and 4th start with one of the parrot colors. I'm thinking this is written this way for a reason and not just a random thing. I'd appreciate learning why it's that way.
Also, this is the widest warp I've ever wound due to the 24 EPI, so I'm wondering how many warp chains it takes to get the whole thing wound. I'm using a Schacht wall mounted warping board that has pretty long pegs. .
Many thanks, as alway--
Adrian
