I've just finished my Snowflake block weave yardage. I used 8/2 cotton for the warp and tussah silk in the weft. Should I wash it as silk or as cotton?

I wove that project. As I recall, I hand washed it like silk. Rolled it in a towel to get out the excess moisture and hung it over a couple of towel rods. My bathroom that has a bathtub has towel rods at the head and at the foot.
When it was damp dry, I tossed it in the dryer with a dry bath towel. Temp set to LOW and dried it for 15 min.
Then I steam pressed it to bring out the shine of the silk. Really lovely.
Thanks! That worked well. I wove the project as a 7m length and plan to sew it up into a light blousy jacket. That is a washing regime I can go on with when it is a garment as well.
Carol, Just a word of warning...I find the floats in silk are more easily snagged than on my all cotton lace projects.
