I just finish weaving Jane's sampler in 5/2 mercerized cotton and found it a great way to look at the different Huck structures. I've now put on a warp of Bambu7 in Crocus to weave a scarf. I only have enough to do the warp but not the weft which I wanted to do in the same color. Jane doesn't show that she has any Crocus #840 on her shopping page but has Rasberry and Sugar Plum in Bambu 12. I'd like to stay as close as possible to the same color family. What would you suggest for the warp?
Thanks
Diane

follow up to my previous question. could I use 8/2 cotton for the weft with bambu7 as the warp and still get a drapy scarf?
There is no reason you couldn't use cotton as a weft - which ever weight of Bambu you are using. The 8/2 cotton would work with the Bambu 7. On Jane's Master Sett Chart (see link below) Jane suggests 16/2 cotton with Bambu 12. BTW - we no longer carry Bambu 7 and it's impossible to carry every colour of every yarn we carry. Our Studio isn't that huge!
