After going crazy-ish with some canvas weave and huck placemats (https://www.schoolofweaving.tv/forums/season-5-laces/58377-canvas-weave-and-huck-placemats), I wanted some coordinating but simple napkins. I went with the most basic design that Jane showed in S5E2.

It was really fun having a grid (two wefts in the same shed) all over the napkins and highlighting it in five warp lines and five weft lines.

Those are lovely!!! I love canvas weave!!

I need to go crazy with weaving. Have not been able to weave in several weeks... grr...

How did you make those hems? I can't see it properly but they look good.

Hi Catherine, I just folded them twice, mitered the corners, and machine sewed them with a medium width zigzag stitch.

Cheryl, I used 16/2 cotton.

Thanks Joan...I have my first warp using 16/2 cotton on my Carolyn loom currently. Can't wait to see/feel the cloth after washing and drying.

Cheryl, it is amazingly soft. But it was quite an effort threading 600 heddles!

Joan, I know what you mean. I just finished weaving the 16/2 warp that had 576 ends...Luckilly no threading errors, but I did have to resley a couple of times...grrr
