Hello! I have a question about weaving the blended lace- I have woven two scarfs now and I have been dismayed to find long floats on the back. I think I did not follow your advice to add am extra tie down between blocks.
So, if I am weaving a repeat of the A block, do I treadle 2,3,2,3,2,1 2,3,2,3, 2,1
and when I am doing a repeat of B block do I treadle 2,4,2,4,2,1
and when I am doing a repeat of C block, do I treadle 2,5,2,5,2,1
and as I am not looking at the treadling even on only doing one block, I still have long floats on the back.

Yes, a tie down. The page 2 pdf where you do the drawdown shows it the best.
I wonder if you could get creative and tie them down manually as a design embellishment with needle and thread?
Not sure how others work around it.
