I have to thank Jane for putting this section in, I have been itching to use all 8 shafts and FINALLY!!😃. This has been a fun and educational weave and I found that 13 yards is the max for my Ashford table loom... can’t wait to get a Louet floor loom next year, I could easily double this warp and play some more. As it is I plan on rewarping it as soon as I’m done with the first one. (if anyone knows an easy way to insert pics, let me know, 45 minutes with html inserts from google drive and my head is about to explode :D.. )
S5-Turned Twill progress
I see some little icons, but no pics.
Saw this as the bottom of the main forum page (actual links on that page):
Upload your images to ImgBB, copy the HTML code HTML full linked and paste into your topics.
great!! Thank you! I was using gdurl and it was not playing nicely! The pics were there before I went to bed and gone this am when I woke up... The Imgbb worked like a dream and was so much easier.
I'm glad you got the pics up -- they are gorgeous!!
I just watched the episode on Turned Twill and it was exciting. I am waiting
On my Mighty Wolf to arrive. I have woven on a rigid heddle but just really wanted to go to a floor loom. I debated 4shaft vs 8 shaft and after seeing this lesson I am so glad I chose 8 shaft.
Loved this episode but I’m afraid I couldn’t manage 13 yards! I chose very different colors and I’ve also woven a lovely silk scarf using this threading. Can’t see how to pose photos so more investigation needed!
I wasn’t sure if I would be able to get 13, I originally thought about separating it into two different warp projects but decided to hold my breath and go for it.
I hope I’ve found out how to post photos!

Nice, they look great!! The links work perfect but you can also post the actual picture using an html tag. It’s very easy. Google insert picture html and there are step by step instructions. You can just use the img.bb link. Your stuff is great!!!!
Thank you. I’ll have a look so next time I hope to get the actual photos on!
