I want to thank Jane and the team for the excellent resources and foundation that this "school" provides!
I decided to tackle weaving a tube for some shopping bags, and after watching the double weave episode a couple of times, I designed and got my loom dressed with a little project.
I had a big brain fart when I actually tried to weave on my table loom, and what I'd thought the lift plan should be wasn't working. But, because I've actually learned how things works instead of blindly following a recipe, I was able to grab a pen and paper, draw out my threading, and figure out the lift plan for how I'd threaded!
I also confidently added two string headles after finding threading errors. Boo to errors, but glad I had the tool to fix it.
It's not a big complicated weave, but it felt like a huge success! Thank you!
