Hi team, I'm looking at two 8/2 spools of cotton, brassard. Do you have an opinion about which of the grays is actually neutral gray. My eye sees the gris pale as having a bit of a green tint. Do you know of a truly neutral gray in 8/2 cotton? Even Bockens #505 looks really pale green to me. Gris fonce tints towards a brown grey to my eye too.

When I see grays, I always see an undertone in them. If I can't tell the undertone, I set it next to what I think might be the undertones complementary color, so it will make the gray undertone pop out. For me blacks are often colored to my eye too.
