I have read all the postings about the Monte Cristo baby blankie but need to ask someone... the pattern requires an 8 dent reed but I have a 6 and a 12 dent reed. I have the conversion chart from JST but in your opinion is it better to use the 6 dent sleyed 1,1,2 (except for the pattern spacing) or the 12 dent sleyed 0, 1, 1? I am thinking the 6 dent will be easier to follow to create the spaces as per the pattern.
