Does anyone have experience weaving towels with chenille (in warp and/or weft)?
Do they absorb moisture well?
Which brand is or is not suitable?

Hand towels woven, but they absorbed (after 24 in cold water and several washes in washing machine) bad moisture 😭

Just before we emigrated to Switzerland, I got about 3 garbage bags full (yes really) of chenille. Different thicknesses and brands.

These are the different types of 100% cotton chenille I have:
Wendy - Elite Options
Borgs Velourgarn
Rowan - Chunky Chenille

Does anyone have any advice and/or tips?

warp: cottoline
weft: alternate cottoline / chenille (100% cotton)

I was hoping that someone with experience with the brands of cotton chenille you are hoping to use - would pop in with a comment. I've never woven towels with chenille. I think the only way you will be able to solve your problem is to sample, sample and sample more. Maybe someone will pop in with a suggestion.
