How timely this development is! I had to mirror an episode onto my tv via Apple TV last night. It was difficult so you can imagine my joy at finding out about all your new school of weaving apps! Is there any way for me to switch to black text on white background for the website? I find the white on black difficult to read.

There isn’t on the website, for now - I really don’t know if that will change. However, you can change it on the iOS app and hopefully it’s the same on the Android app.

What happened to the old index to the videos? I'm needing a refresher on how to determine the size of a mystery yarn in my stash and can't find an index. Thanks.

Was there a guide to the new website that I missed? I see people mentioning apps that I didn't know existed. Also, I wonder what the "add to my list" thingie on the videos is. I suspect it may be familiar to those who frequent some of the social media sites? I'm looking for a nice explanation of all the wonders of the new school site.

When we migrated everyone over from the old site, we mentioned in a few emails about some of the apps that were available at that time, I'm wondering if you are receiving these emails? If you're not, let me know and we can guide you on how to subscribe to them.
That said, on the main page right under the shuttle photo and at the very bottom, is listed all the apps that are available to watch the videos on: https://www.schoolofweaving.tv/

Also, I did a search query on the 'Help' section with info about the apps, how to watch them, how to sign up for them etc: https://www.schoolofweaving.tv/help/articles?query=apps

You're last question, the 'add to my list' is where you can add some videos on our site that you would like to watch later. It's a way to quickly get to them.

In case it is, there is one thing that I’ve noticed that I would love to see changed.

I watch most videos on my iPad. I have a keyboard case, so most of the time the keyboard is right there for me to use, and I’ve found it very convenient for watching videos. Most video players allow the video to be controlled with the keys, for instance the space bar acts as play/pause, and the arrow keys let you skip back and forth in a video, which is especially useful in instructional videos. My keyboard also has play control buttons (play/pause, forward/back). All of these work perfectly when I have this site open in the browser (Safari), but none of them work in the app. Which means the only option I have is using the on screen controls. This for me is a reason to not use the app at all at the moment on my iPad and just watch the videos in the browser.

So, long story short, I’d love it if the app on iOS/iPadOS would support keyboard controls for video playback.

I like the look of the new webpage, and have downloaded the iOS app. One thing I liked on the other platform was that my progress within the seasons would be saved, so I could see where I left off. I found this very helpful. I do see that I could add the videos to my list and remove them once I watched them, but I'm likely to forget to remove them. Other than that it looks great, and like how the different lessons are arranged with at the table and at the loom videos

I find that I have stopped following the forums since you started the new format. I don’t like the white on black, and the print is SO TINY. I wonder if enough people give similar input would that prompt a change?

While I like the new websiteI have to agree about the new forum font. The white on black tiny print is really hard to read. Do you know if it is possible to increase the font size if I am using Chrome (on a MAC computer)?
