A hint of fall is in the air as our days get shorter and the temperature is starting to slowly drop. Time to get something on your loom after the hiatus of summer. What are you weaving or planning to weave?? We'd all love to know!

I'm working on my second warp of sequins in pockets using cool colors this time.

Just finished 8 Monk ‘ s Belt placemats and two table runners in brown and natural 8/2 & 8/4 cotton. Some of them have “Zinger “ colours as well. A fun draft to play with at the loom!

Working on the Turned Taquete lesson but I changed up the colors - multiple versions of green. Once finished, I'll be going back to Overshot and buying more Zephyr now that JaggerSpun is closing. :(

I was so taken with collapsed fabric I decided to make a length of cloth out of silk and wool. I just cannot remember how to post an image. I am really pleased. I hope to make a cape or jacket out of the finished material. I chose to wash this in my front loading washer with hot water and soap. I had 8 yards and could not do this in my mud room sink. Just too much material. I stopped the washer every 3-4 minutes to check. When it was sufficiently fulled I spun it out. I just need to do a final rinse to make sure the soap is out. That I will do in the sink!

I’m working on the Cotton Boucle’. From season 1. I added 2 threads of black in between each 56 and 50 blocks of color warp threads. I love symmetry and order. The colors that came with the kit are quite out of my comfort zone but arranging them and now weaving the weft color’s wow! I’m loving this school!

I'm calling this boring warp (I prefer wilder colors) Easter Egg Hunt. I cut it off after 6 towels and am getting ready to warp some Magenta Madness.
