Hello,
My sister, who lives in Italy, has just started weaving and is looking for weaving kits. Unfortunately, she tells me, JST can't ship to Italy its kit or yarn. Does anyone know of sources for kits in Europe?
Thank you, Giovanni

Hi Giovanni!
I’ve recently moved from the US to Spain. While I’m still looking for resources, here’s what I’ve found so far….
I use the webshop option on the Venne Colcoton website….www.vennecolcoton.com and I have also ordered from www.artifilum.com in France. While they don’t have specific kits, your sister can order the same amount of yarn included in Jane’s kits. However, she’ll need to convert yards to meters and ounces to grams to ensure she orders the correct amount. The Europeans use a slightly different numbering system for yarn (not 8/2 or 2/8) so I rely on comparing the yards per ounce to the meters per gram.
Hope this helps!
Marty
Thank you Marty.
I recognize the Dutch site labels on the linen as the one Jane uses on some of the kit I bought.

Hi Giovanni
Your sister can get Brassard yarns (Cotton 8/2, 8/4, 16/2 ; Bamboo, Tencel) from https://www.wallmonte.com/c/garne/maurice-brassard
Harrisville shetland can be bought with a very reasonable flat shipping rate directly from their website https://harrisville.com/products/shetland-cone?variant=42386630115492
Jaeggerspun Zephyr and merino 18/2 is hard to find. She might try https://www.garnhusetkinna.se/20-2-ull (same yardage as Merino 18/2)
Thank you,
Giovanni
