Hello. I am waiting for my floor loom to arrive soon, and I am concerned about the noise travelling downstairs.
I live in an apartment building and have hardwood floors. I know people downstairs can hear my footsteps if I'm wearing high heels, so I'm wearing soft slippers inside my apartment.
I'm wondering if a sectional rug helps reduce the sound significantly. I'm also considering foam tiles, but they tend to look cheap and ugly :(
If anyone knows any special trick to reduce noise or to deaden noise, I'd love to know. Thanks in advance!

Hi Deb,
Thank you for your quick response. Your rug looks nice and thick. I'm happy to hear that the rug solved the issues and keeping your feet warm ;) I didn't think about clunking of the treadles, so I'm definitely getting something similar in my area (Amazon doesn't apparently ship the item to my address) Thank you again. Happy weaving :)
