For those of us "over the pond" who can no longer purchase from Jane's shop, it is possible to provide details of manufacturer etc so that we can try to source the same yarns elsewhere. If this isn't possible perhaps an alternative which is freely available. Jane uses beautiful yarns and, apart from the threads dyed "in house", it would be nice to be able to use the same thing but bought in the UK.
Sharon shared a list with me a few months ago as I have moved from the US to Spain
We are still not shipping to Spain at this time. Our apologies for the inconvenience. Here is a list of suppliers in Europe! I hope this helps.

Thanks for that. Unfortunately, My Fine Weaving Yarns no longer sells yarn. The owners have semi-retired and now concentrate on looms only. They had a huge range of weaving yarns in different fibres and were my first choice when buying yarn.
While there are several online retailers who sell cotton and cotton/linen from Venne and cotton and bamboo from Brassard, if we want the same colours we need to know which manufacturers Jane is using. I've managed to identify some cotton yarns by colour name but the silks, Bambu and wool are difficult to source or find a similar yarn without further information. For example, I can't find Bambu in the UK and I don't know what equivalent weight i would need in, say, Brassard Bamboo which I can obtain in the UK. If there was more info, e.g. manufacturer, equivalent weight, etc, about the yarns Jane uses then there would be a better chance of finding the same or a close equivalent in the UK or other European country.
I think Bambu is a Silk City product. I did a quick search and Bambu is a trademark. You could try emailing them directly to see if they have vendors in the UK or lion brand

Maybe Jamieson -scottish yarn or something that might come on a cone?
The Harrisville Shetland comes on a cone and is a fingering weight. it is coated so it's smooth but blooms once water finished.
It's a 2 ply.
I did find a couple of places called https://weavingyarn.co.uk and https://www.handweavers.co.uk/yarns-wool-merino-wool.irc.
That last one has jaggerspun and donegal wool.
The UK store keepers might have a better sense of how weight etc is determined/different from North America .
I might investigate later but I wonder if there is a master yarn chart for Europe and UK so you can compare with the one that Handwoven Magazine has. anyhow, good luck.
So far as I can make out, Jane uses Brassard cotton or at least the colours match up with Brassard. Brassard also make a cotton boucle which is available in the UK. Both are available from https://www.frankherringandsons.com . I can't find any stockist for Bambu but Brassard make an 8/2 and 16/2 bamboo which I have used and is available from several UK stockists. As I don't know the yarn count for Bambu I just sample to find the correct sett for Brassard's version.
Venne cotton 8/2 and 16/2 is also widely sold in the UK but matching colours isn't as easy if having the same colourways as Jane is important. Venne also make a cotton/linen blend in the same counts.
I'm still searching for some of the wool and silk yarns. Quebecoise is available from Frank Herring. Weavingyarns.co.uk sells a lot of Garnhuset cotton and wool but I haven't yet tried it. Jagger Zephyr is available from Handweavers Studio.
