Season 6 summer and winter placemats. This is #1
Beautiful, Catherine. I was going to skip summer and winter and jump to the latest season 7. On seeing yours, I think I will go to summer and winter. Well done.
Thanks. I find it a brain challenger for sure at the start of each one, but a rhythm develops pretty fast.
My thoughts were the same as chancemegs. Looks much too nice to be skipped. Thanks for showing.
Beautiful, Catherine!
I'm weaving overshot scarves based on Season 6 Episode 4. I've re-designed these using Wandering Vine for one side of the pattern, and the squares from Jane's design on the other side. Here's the first scarf with a standard tie-up. Because the two overshot patterns are not really related, when I treadle one pattern, the other side of the scarf is a bit of a jumbled mess. I don't think that's a problem, and I like the result, but one of my objectives with this pattern is to try something else on the remaining scarves. The plan is to use a modified skeleton tie-up on my Spring 2 loom. I've threaded the Wandering Vine on shafts 5-8, and the rest on shafts 1-4. I'll have one set of treadles tied to only 1-4 and the other set of treadles tied to only 5-8, then I can use two treadles for each pick to weave the two overshot patterns independently.

Really lovely !!
Here's the next scarf using the modified skeleton tie-up

Karen this is lovely, and I'm so glad that you explained how you're doing your tie-ups. I've been intrigued lately by deflected double weave and many of the patterns I've seen require using more than one treadle at a time. I was just beginning research to see if this was possible with a Spring II, and now you've given me the key to making it work!. Thank you so much!
I finished my double weave blanket today! I am calling it "Iris".

Absolutely gorgeous! I love the colors so much.
Gorgeous!
Lovely!! Colors ad graphics. And holy moly are you fast!
Deb, this is so soft and lovely...fabulous job!!
Karen that's sooo beautiful!
Deb you have been so fast and that name suits perfect. What are the dimensions of your blanket?
You all really stress me, so much beautiful things to try and such short days..
Finished measurements are 81” x 48”.
It started out at 91”x59” and after fulling in the machine on delicate cycle, and then tossing it in the dryer on delicate also, for about 15 minutes, it came out beautifully soft. The only part I hated was the fringe twisting. I have a double clip twister, but 512 ends of yarn (4 twisted together) takes a few hours. Plus it is boring, but I like how it looks.
And Catherine, I totally get it. There are so many things to try it’s hard to choose the next project. We are like kids in a candy shop! 😂
Inspired by that blanket. Beautiful "iris".
I finished the 540-end baby blanket. Here it is at the end still on the loom. The sheepie's feet are pointing toward the edge, so they're upside down in that picture. Next is the blanket off the loom, washed and hemmed, and then a close-up of 2 sheepies.
Also, this weekend I've enjoyed playing with Season Three's lesson on Weft-Faced Weaving--can't believe how much yarn that eats up!

Love those!
Great job! Love them sheep!
Gorgeous !!
Beautiful, Catherine! Well done.
Beautiful, Catherine!
Really beautiful. I loved the first one on my loom so much, I went ahead and cut it off so I could finish it and start wearing it last week. Ironing it really brought out the shine of the silk tussah.
Now, to do a different tie up and weave #2. I think I've settled on a heart motif.
