So there I was, beaming the venne cottlin for the sassy brassy towels. The warp tangled on me, so there was a lot of combing and sorting while beaming, which is a pain, and super stressful to deal with. After I finished beaming I discovered several broken warp ends. I did not notice them breaking during the beaming, but at the end there 2-4 loose threads that came off of the warp. I don't know what I should do.
Should I unwind the warp and try to find those ends and tie new threads to them? I am deeply afraid of tangling the warp if I do that. Also I have no idea where those broken warps are.
Should I ignore them, do my best to adjust the pattern as I sley, and deal with tension issues as they come up?
The pattern is a plain weave with a log cabin effect. At least two broken warp threads were from the log cabin section.
