This episode is presented by Rebecca Logan. I first meet Rebecca Logan in 2016, one year after she started to weave. Over the next 3 years she came to Salt Spring for 5 workshops and every time she came she blew me away. She would describe how she had used everything she had learned at the previous workshop and that feedback is so rewarding to hear. As an engineer she comes to the complexities of structure with an natural ease and that translates into her wonderful creativity at the loom.

The subject is Marian Powell's method of drafting Shadow Weave, and it is brilliant. This is also our first episode where there is theory and projects for both 4 and 8 shafts. This makes for a massive episode but it's all broken down and presented beautifully over 9 instructional videos.
