Season 5 Episode 4 - Huck Colour & Weave
We have a new episode ready for you and it is jam-packed with inspiration to last a lifetime. You know how much I love Colour Gamp; Weave sequences and you know how much I love Huck...so now they are hanging out together making magic. I pulled out all the stops when it came to playing with ideas and the results from all these gamps are truly mind-boggling, IMHO.
I hope you enjoy watching this episode as much as I enjoyed weaving the pieces.
Things we will learn in Episode 4!
-Everything we learned in Season 2 Colour & Weave can be overlaid on top of most weave structures but in this case, Huck
-We can warp with 3 end and 5 end units in one piece... even 7 if we want
-We can use all 3 tie-ups to get different effects, weft spots, warp spots and lace
-We can use all the treadling combinations we used in the previous Episode 3
-We can treadle using 3 end and 5 end units in one piece
-That we can treadle uneven Dark/Light sequences on even threading sequences and make magic
-And that the learning just never ends!
