Lisa, I cannot find the fold on your final throw, good job.

Finally found a tie-up for this for my Glimakra countermarche and figured out the treadling, Phew!

Round 1: 2 layers, stuffed pocket, fold right, fold left

I recently completed the Double Weave episode, and was so pleased with the outcome! It was a totally new technique for me.

I really concentrated on not having any draw/tension on the join side. The join looked really nice on the loom. When I later removed the "added" thread I was actually worried I was going to have a gap in the join area and little loops/excess thread where the wefts went around the join!

But after washing/drying it was absolutely perfect!! I couldn't even tell where the join was! I ended up with one longer shawl and one shorter shawl. This has me feeling capable of weaving a larger blanket on my Spring II someday! 😃
