Catherine, What a beautiful scarf, and such lovely colors!
Thank you Cheryl!
I've warped up my loom with yet another set of collapse scarves (Season 3 Episode 6). This time I decided to put the silk on the edge to get a ruffle and to thread some huck diamonds into the silk on one side (the larger ruffle as it is asymmetric).

Karen, this is stunning !!
Really exquisit!
Love the ruffles. Added to my to do list. Thanks for the pic
Couldn’t resist and will wind my warp this afternoon putting off turned twill towels until next week.

I just finished this plaited twill scarf made out of Zephyr. It was set at 24 epi. Just love working with this fibre. I can't wait to finish the fringe then wash it and watch the magic in the water. I am definitely going to make a few more in this same pattern. Despite using all 10 treadles it was so easy. Merry Christmas everyone.
Beautiful and love that it could be worn by a man or a woman !
Thank you. You are right it could be for either gender.
Beautiful!
So I finished off the "Doomed Crackle Warp" yesterday. Towels are washed and pressed and ready to hem. I love how they turned out and am so happy that I stuck with it despite all of the issues that were MY FAULT... There was another towel tromp as writ, but it is already gifted.
This towel is tromp as writ Crackle with tabby wefts:

This one is pure Crackle with no tabby, three shuttles and is my favorite:

This one is treadled using Bronson Lace:

And this was my leftover warp...a little towel using boucle in green:

WOW - good for you - it really payed off to persevere 👏👏👏
Thanks Sandra...Merry Christmas
Yay! You persevered and conquered! Beautiful, Cheryl!
Thanks Deb...Merry Christmas
So beautiful!
Merry Christmas
Beautiful, Deb. Good gifts. I found crackle required so much focus. Good for the brain.
I actually thought the crackle cloth was easy to read as I was weaving compared to other techniques. I wonder is seeing the levers to raise in front of my eyes was easier than if I had been using my floor loom.
I found crackle depended on value contrast for me to see the effect. I was working on a white warp, and until I addressed contrast, I couldn’t really see what was happening. Once I got the contrast working. I had lots of fun!
warped up for 6 more towels. Inspired by seasons 5 and 6. I'm sampling weft changes in the first yard of the warp.

Now, if I could stop mucking with the selvedges.
Re: selvage mucking. I get it.
Lately I’ve been super diligent about mimicking Jane’s techniques as best I can. My selvages have improved vastly as a result.
Sampling for a shawl using my hand dyed wool/silk at 16 epi in turned twill. I first started out at 12 epi but the fabric was too dense, now trying 16EPI, planning to re-sley for 20 epi.
